Level 2. Message 3 of 3. If you start having issue setting up the fingerprint, please perform the following troubleshooting steps below: Uninstall Synaptics Validity fingerprint sensor driver from device manager.
It may ask you if you want to uninstall the software driver, click yes. Once you have done that, please install the latest Synaptics Validity fingerprint sensor driver from HP drivers page. If the first step doesn't work, please go into BIOS by tapping on the "F10" key multiple times during boot up. If your drive is no encrypted, it will ask you to accept fingerprint and TPM reset. Let me know if that works!
