2006 audi a4 radio installation

One of the most time consuming tasks with installing an after market car stereo, car radio, car speakers, car amplifier, car navigation or any car electronics is identifying the correct color wires for a Audi A4 headlight bulb size you need for your low beam or high beam and save time.

Also, find your other car light bulb sizes including your fog light, reverse light, turn signal, brake light and more. The Modified Life staff has taken all its Audi car radio wiring diagrams, Audi car stereo wiring diagrams, Audi car radio wiring schematics, Audi car wiring diagrams and cataloged them online. If you are doing it rite you will have it out in about 30 sec. Last edited by Chb04; at PM. Originally Posted by Mtepete. Originally Posted by wayneB7. You can see the "rectangle" drawer in his photos , apparently he never realized that the "drawer" was his access, not removing the entire side of the trunk wall. I have an 06 that originally came with the SymII. The OP and several others just suggested I get the newest part I can find so I did blindly as there was not much other info on this setup out there.

I was worried at first as I had Green and Brown colored FAKRA cables coming out of my car and the receiver has just one green post unlike the earlier models that have both colored posts. After some research I found that the brown is only for terrestrial repeater antennas so I just hooked up green and it works like a champ.

Apparently the newer sat receivers share the same cable for both signals so you may have trouble in massive metropolitan areas but I am not worried about it in KY. Originally Posted by grizzles. It does not make sense that you would have any "extra" cables or connections if you got the right part number for your vehicle. Did you call your Audi dealer, and have them check your VIN number and give you the corresponding part numbers that would work for your car? If you did - and you got the right part for YOUR car, then you should have had perfect compatibility.

Yeah, I had PMed you about this and you made the suggestion to contact my dealer. I am not worried about the extra cable as I know exactly what it is for, just thought I would let people know this works in case they end up in the same situation.

Any help much appreciated! Anyone have any success upgrading the head unit or speakers? Put the paper well in position. Cut along red line. Effect picture after cutting. Take out control panel. Take out gear decorated cover. Take out cigar lighter. Dismantle the cigar light metal and plastic. Remove gasket. Pry loose, take out the decoration strop and screws. Plug well all Android cables and original power harness plug into Android adaptor. Locked back original screws, then the holder can be fixed well.

Check all the wiring and power on to test.
